This book really rung a bell with me. I have had so many negative experiences with hair dressers and now through Sheila Gooding’s book – I know I am not alone. The author also gives some great tips and advice for those that want healthy, strong hair.
I really can’t wait for what else Gooding has in store. More books please!

This book is very interesting as well as informative. It is also amusing. I highly recommend it.

This book was hilarious and I couldn’t stop laughing. At the same time there were some very true insights on my African-Americans women can’t seeem to grow long lustrous hair. Along the way I had to jot down a few notes on what to do and not to do to perserve and strenghthen my hair. This book can be read in a few days.
