This book is a great step by step guide for doing black girls’ hair. The author gives you options for every type of hair and clear instructions about how best to care for it. She does not advocate chemical processing, although she does tell you how to do it if/when the time should arise. Great job Ms, Lilly!

I just finished reading your book and I loved it! I am a white mother with two beautiful biracial girls. I have tried so many methods and products over the past 5 years, but always with great hesitancy. This book to recommended great products, with helpful usage ideas. Thank you so much!
