  2. I must say this is an excellent book. I am actually buying another for a friend. I have natural hair and my friend has permed hair and the information is priceless. I have struggled with hair care in the past but The Black Hair Care Revolution is a lifesaver. It has wonderful ways to help me better understand how to care for our different types of hair. We as African-American have the best hair ever. It is so versatile and strong. It’s the envy of many and often imitated but never duplicated. I suggest everyone check this publication out and you too will love it as much as I do. Just like anything in life, you need a great guide and this book is it ladies and men if you have natural or permed hair. Use it or lose it and you know the old saying, “Hair today gone tomorrow. ” Don’t let it slip away. Buy this guide and it will stick around.

  3. I was looking forward to receiving this book, hoping I would get insight on how to manage my unruly curls. I barely got anything out of this thin publication. Everything in the book could have been written on 3 standard computer pages. I read it in 15 mins and besides a couple of at home recipes I’m left just as clueless as I was before I bought the book.

I was really happy to see that a book had been written that not only explained in detail about the how and whys of hair, but also didn’t give me a bunch of information that I didn’t need (or want). It got right to the point, as a pocket guide should. It being a pocket guide, is wonderful, because although I have been known to carry large purses, I in no way want to become a “bad lady” and have to carry heavy items in it, so taking it along with me, was very easy! I have permed hair and I am talking a lie based relaxer-that a beautician by the name of Felecia Burnett (Fidels,ATL-I live in STL and travel to her!) did-great job girl, but the information in this book has helped me so much, especially because I wear scarves on my head everyday-and I had no clue about the fabrics-thank you mrs. jude!!!!I don’t really like homemade hair care, but i did try a few of the recipes and I actually liked it(deep moisturizing conditioner. The cover is beautiful and the pictures are great too!
loving it from St. Louis, MO. !

This book is great. It is easy to read and covers topics from how to condition your hair to how to make conditioning shampoo. Before reading this book, I did not know that I could take hair care products back to the store if they did not do what they said the would.
